Tournament Team Code of Conduct

1. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches and officials at every game, practice or BRHL event. I understand that my attitude is an important part of my eligibility.
2. I understand that I am not guaranteed any amount of playing time during a tournament, and will support the team and my coaches regardless of my personal feelings.
3. I will attend every practice and game that is reasonably possible and notify my coach, assistant
   coach, or team captain if I can not.
4. I will treat other players and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or abilities and I will expect to be treated accordingly.
5. I understand that profanity (swearing) is not acceptable or appropriate behavior, and will choose my vocabulary accordingly. I will play in an alcohol, tobacco and drug free environment.
   
6. There will be no drinking, smoking, chewing of tobacco or use of any illegal substance at any local, regional or national tournament.
7. I will remember that sports is an opportunity to learn and have fun. I will attend school and maintain passing grades.
8. I understand that playing on a tournament team is a privilege, not a right and I will strive to do everything that is asked of me at tournaments, locally and out of the area.
9. I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials and parents at every game and practice and as part of my every day life.
10. I am aware that there are costs that a team cannot reasonably expect to pay and agree to pay/raise/or get sponsorships for my share of these expenses for the entire tournament season. I also understand that this is non-refundable and will not cover all of the tournament expenses. The total cost will be determined by the team.
11. I will remember that by being involved in the BRHL tournament team program that I am a role model for ALL players and parents in the community and I will do my best to uphold a positive image for both the sport and the league.
12. I agree not to participate on any other competitive roller hockey team in my area and not to compete on any other team outside of Central Oregon if it conflicts with my BRHL team.
13. I also understand that if I do not maintain all of these standards that I can and will be removed from the team after a conference with my coaches and parents or tournament team discipline committee.
